PAIR OF GREEK SILVER RAM-SHAPED APPLIQUES Ca. 500 BC. A pair of silver appliques, each in the shape of a ram's head modelled with large curled horns, furrowed brows above downcast eyes, a narrow muzzle with incised nostrils, and a ridged fleece across the crown. The reverse of each is hollow. Size: 25-27mm x 23-23mm; Weight: 13g Provenance: From a private London collection; earlier present on the German art market in the 1990s.
