COLLECTION OF RARE PHOENICIAN GLASS HUMAN AND ANIMAL HEAD BEADS Ca. 500 - 400 BC. A collection of three glass human and animal head beads, including, from left to right: a blue and white human head with concentric eyes and a yellow mouth; an opaque white glass human head with blue hair, blue beard and brows, applied blue eyes and long nose; and a dark blue animal head with applied blue eyes, white collar, projecting horns and elongated muzzle. Size: 19-32mm x 16-29mm; Weight: 43g Provenance: Prince Collection, 1990sÐ2014; ex. private collection, 1970sÐ1990s.
