LARGE PHOENICIAN INLAY EYE CABOCHON IN SILVER RING Ca. 600 - 400 BC. A large eye agate cabochon with concentric black, white and brown bands. It is set in a possibly later silver ring with a broad hoop tapering towards the back and a circular bezel plate with a raised collet. Size: D:18.34mm / US: 8 1/4 / UK: Q; Weight: 11.2g Provenance (cabochon): Prince Collection, 1990sÐ2014; ex. private collection, 1970sÐ1990s.
