CELTIC SILVER-GILT BROOCH Ca. 100 BC - AD 100. A silver-gilt brooch with a bow-shaped body and a long tapering pin. The arched bow has a broad triangular plate, a globular terminal, and a curved neck joining a coiled spring. The pin extends from the spring and tapers to a sharp point. Size: 62mm x 23mm; Weight: 23g Provenance: From a private London collection; earlier present on the German art market in the 1990s.
