ROMAN CARNELIAN INTAGLIO WITH JUSTITIA HOLDING SCALES IN SILVER RING Ca. AD 50 - 200. A carnelian intaglio engraved with Justicia standing on a groundline, with a long staff in her right hand and scales suspended from her left hand. The intaglio is set in a possibly later silver ring with a rounded hoop, angular shoulders and an oval bezel. For similar see: The British Museum, Museum number 1917,0501.437.
