Onufry Bizyukov was a leading Ukrainian painter of the 20th century, regarded as one of the last major representatives of pre-war Ukrainian modernism. From the 1920s onwards, he took part in major mural and monumental decoration projects in Kyiv and was active within the Association of Revolutionary Art of Ukraine.
