Hallmarks: master’s mark in Cyrillic ‘AZ’; within an oval shield: ‘woman’s head facing right’; 84 carats. Wood, oil Dimensions: kiot 25 x 21 cm. Icon 17 x 13 cm. Condition: icon with no later alterations, patina on the mount, warping on the Book, crack on the rear wall of the kiot. Icon in a kiot and a silver frame ‘Our Lady of Kazan’. Wood, oil. Dimensions: kiot 25 x 23 cm. Icon 17 x 15 cm. Russia, late 19th – early 20th century. Frame: silver, stamped, engraved, gilded. Hallmarks: master’s mark ‘IN’ (?); within an oval escutcheon: ‘woman’s head turned to the right’; 84 carats. Condition: icon unrestored; patina on the frame; gilding partially lost on the sides of the icon case.
