The Black Madonna of the Basilica of Guingamp, Itron Varia Gwir Zikour, is the subject of one of the most important pardons in the region. Crowned in 1857, this 14th-century statue is the first in Brittany (and the fourth in France) to receive the "insignia of the golden crown" from Rome.
