SAINT-MALO, Louis XV period.
Part of a silver MENAGERE comprising five COUVERTS and two CUILLERS, single-flat model. The leaf is engraved with the arms of the BAUDRAN family stamped with a count's crown.
Spoon: Paris, 1725-1726. Master goldsmith: François DROULLOT, received Master in 1719 (arms stamped with a marquisal crown).
Cutlery: Saint-Malo, 1772-1775. Master silversmith: André AUDOUARD, received Master in 1743.

Provenance: Probably belonging to Alain Jean Baudran (born in Saint-Malo in 1739) who married Josephine Hingant (born in 1758 in Guitté, Dinan) in 1795, then collection of Baron M. de B., Guingamp manor. By descent.
