General Oudinot pays his last respects to the dead of the Battle of Friedland on 15 June 1807.
Watercolour dated in the middle.
Height: 18.4 cm. Width: 23.4 cm (Partially torn at the bottom).
The painting shows General Oudinot on his horse, bicorn in hand, facing the battlefield as the battalions of grenadiers return to the port.
Two corpses of Russian soldiers can be seen at the foot of the General.
