Description
A Napoleon III period two-leaf inlaid FURNITURE CABINET.
The sides are veneered with rosewood in reserves of stained pearwood topped with a small foliate frieze. The front has a neoclassical antique décor influenced by the late 18th century. It opens with two doors and rests on a spindle-shaped base.
Moulded white marble top set in ormolu moulding. Ornamentation of chased bronze falls, descents from falls, frames and mouldings. Monogrammed mark under the falls ""PS"" for Paul SORMANI.
Napoleon III period.
