Description
Pierre JOUBERT (1910–2002). A set of 13 colour prints mainly depicting teenagers in the guise of a young pirate, Mowgli, a Celtic warrior, a medieval falconer, an Indian chief (small tear in the top left-hand corner), an Indian hunter (numbered 622/1000) and a prince of Egypt, including a lithograph of *The Vermeil Bracelet* (countersigned and numbered 50/300). Jean-Marie Cuny’s ‘Librairie Lorraine’ sold postcards and posters by Joubert, from which this collection originates. Joubert designed the covers for issues 93, 117, 164 and 166 of the *Revue Lorraine Populaire*.
