Voluntary lot
Description
Jean-Marie CUNY wished to sell off part of his collection of material relating to Lorraine. Enthusiasts will find numerous illustrations, postcards and subjects that contributed to the success of *La Revue Lorraine Populaire*, the famous magazine he founded in 1974.
There are also several prints by artists championed by Jean-Marie Cuny at the Librairie Lorraine, a veritable Nancy institution which was situated opposite the Ducal Palace. All the lots dedicated to Pierre Joubert also come from this bookshop’s stock; without him, French Scouting would certainly not have been what it is today (who isn’t familiar with the *Signes de piste* illustrated by the great artist?).
The dispersal of this collection does not, however, mark the end of Jean-Marie Cuny’s interest in our beloved Lorraine, and it is always a pleasure to bump into him in town or at an event!
