TOMMASO CASCELLA (Rome, 1951) – The Zodiac: Libra (2020) Colour lithograph on paper. Dimensions: 32 x 22 cm. An evocative abstract composition from the series ‘The Zodiac’, in which Tommaso Cascella interprets the sign of Libra through a visual language characterised by great formal balance and poetic sensibility. The work features a harmonious arrangement of geometric planes in shades of blue, black and grey, criss-crossed by delicate white lines and chromatic dots that evoke stellar configurations and astral references. The arched form alluding to the zodiacal symbol of Libra stands out on the right-hand side of the composition, subtly integrated within the abstract structure.
