TOMMASO CASCELLA (Rome, 1951) – The Zodiac: Taurus (2020) Colour lithograph on paper. Dimensions: 32 x 22 cm. A refined abstract composition from the series ‘The Zodiac’, in which Tommaso Cascella interprets the sign of Taurus through a symbolic visual language with a distinctly astral inspiration. The work is constructed from broad chromatic fields in shades of blue and black, traversed by white lines and polychrome constellations that evoke celestial maps and cosmic trajectories. The form alluding to the zodiacal symbol of Taurus stands out in the lower right-hand corner, subtly integrated within the geometric structure of the composition.
