Attributed to Murillo – 18th or 19th centuries Canvas mounted on panel. A genre scene of great narrative spontaneity depicting two boys sharing an everyday moment with a dog and a basket of fruit in a barely suggested rural setting. One of the boys is holding a fish whilst the other observes the scene with a knowing expression, creating a composition with a familiar and intimate feel.
