The Infant Jesus with the Cross. Seville school. 17th century Oil on panel. Dimensions: 24 x 19 cm. A small devotional painting depicting the Christ Child walking barefoot whilst embracing a large cross, in a scene of profound symbolic meaning that foreshadows the Passion from Christ’s childhood.
