Tempera and polychrome on panel. Dimensions: 41 x 33 cm. This Orthodox icon is organised around a complex narrative structure of registers that bring together various religious scenes centred on a central depiction of the Resurrection. The small compositions depict episodes from the lives of Christ and the Virgin Mary, accompanied by inscriptions in Cyrillic script and hieratic figures of pronounced spirituality.
