Exceptional Tibetan thangka featuring a mandala, 18th century Polychrome pigments on silk with brocade. Dimensions: 64 x 47 cm; with brocade: 117 x 70 cm. The composition centres on a circular mandala inscribed within a stepped geometric structure, surrounded by figures of bodhisattvas and deities arranged amongst clouds and floral elements. Seated figures with halos appear at the top and bottom, whilst the perimeter features ornamental motifs and mountain landscapes. The entire piece is framed by decorative brocade fabric in shades of purple and gold.
