BRUNO CHERISCLA (Udine, 1954) - Abstract kinetic sculpture (1980) Patinated bronze. Dimensions: 18 x 12 x 3 cm (closed); 30 x 20 x 3 cm (open). An interesting abstract kinetic sculpture in patinated bronze, representative of the formal investigations carried out by Bruno Cheriscla into geometry, movement and spatial transformation. The work features an articulated, mobile structure that allows for different compositional configurations, emphasising the dialogue between volume, balance and dynamism. The openwork geometric surfaces and angular lines create a visual interplay of great constructive force, reminiscent of the geometric abstraction and kinetic art movements that emerged in Italy during the second half of the 20th century. Signed by incision on the inside. Number 72 of an edition of 1,000. The work is in good condition. Provenance: private collection, Padua. Lot held in an international warehouse (within the EU).
