Antique Castilian farm cart, Spanish Popular School, 19th century Carved and assembled wood with wrought-iron fittings. A traditional agricultural cart designed for transporting goods and tools in rural areas, featuring an open rectangular frame and large spoked wheels reinforced with metal rims. The piece reveals a fully functional design, in which the sturdiness of the frame, the front rails and the hitching mechanisms preserve its original utilitarian character. The remnants of bluish and reddish polychromy on the side panels are particularly striking, as are the signs of wear, cracks and oxidation that enrich the surface with a rich historical patina.
