Bohemian crystal vase with an engraved medallion, late 19th – early 20th century. Bohemian crystal vase, cut and acid-etched. Dimensions: 31 x 16 x 16 cm. The vase features a bulbous body and a flared neck with a wavy rim, decorated with a lakeside landscape and tree motifs etched on a translucent red background. The contrast between the satin-finished areas and the ruby-coloured crystal creates a striking decorative and luminous effect. The moulded base and the enveloping composition of the ornamentation reflect the ornamental style of Central European glassmaking from the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
