Walnut bench with a reed seat. Spanish school. 19th century Carved walnut with a woven reed seat. Dimensions: 85 × 149 × 49 cm. Three-seater bench with a gently curved backrest formed by vertical uprights and openwork crossbars with a wavy profile. The wide, curved armrests rest on open supports and connect to moulded front legs, whilst the reed seat adds lightness and functionality. The understated ornamentation, the quality of the joinery, and the use of walnut are characteristic of traditional 19th-century Spanish furniture, known for its solidity and formal balance. It is an excellent example of period domestic furniture. Dimensions: 85 × 149 × 49 cm.
