Wood and antelope hide. Dimensions: 24 × 12 × 14 cm. A double-faced ritual mask belonging to the sculptural tradition of the Ejagham people, characterised by its Janus iconography, with two opposing faces alluding to duality, vigilance and the ability to see the past and future simultaneously.
