Bare-chested, in a hieratic frontal pose, with a broad pelvis and narrow waist, dressed in a long sarong with regular vertical pleats and a wide hem folded back at the front, concealing the broad waist visible at the back. Grey sandstone with traces of black lacquer. Cambodia. Khmer. Bakheng site. 10th century. Height 46 cm. In the same French collection since 1970.
