Imari porcelain plate with polychrome decoration depicting a flowering bonsai Polychrome decoration in blue, red and gold, featuring a central motif of a flowering bonsai in a vase on a terrace, surrounded by reserves with floral and plant motifs against a background of scrolls and stylised dragons. Compartmentalised rim; reverse decorated with bouquets in blue under the glaze. Japanese work, Edo period, 18th century. Good overall condition, slight wear to the glaze. Diameter 46 cm x height 5 cm. Lot held in an international warehouse (within the EU). Intra-EU shipment: no import duties apply within the EU.
