Landscape with steam cart and figures in the rain, Signed, Spanish school, 20th century Oil on canvas. Dimensions 53 cm x 42 cm. Dimensions with frame 65 cm x 54 cm. In a landscape of loose brushstrokes and vibrant colour, several figures cross a waterlogged area next to a steam-powered vehicle or cart from which a column of dark smoke rises. To the left, a large mass of trees rises, while in the foreground, a woman with a blue shawl and another figure sheltered by an umbrella move through the wet ground.
