The Death of the Virgin. Flemish Master from Antwerp, 17th Century. Oil on copper. Dimensions: 114 cm x 85 cm and 124 cm x 96 cm (framed). This scene of great compositional complexity depicts the Virgin Mary's passing, surrounded by the apostles, arranged on different planes and in attitudes of contemplation, wonder, and prayer.
