Description
Carnival mask or fountain mouth with Pulcinella, Vicenza stone, Italy, 20th century Carved Vicenza stone. Dimensions: 35 x 45 x 30 cm. A unique sculptural mask representing the character of Pulcinella, identified by his long, pointed nose, a feature traditionally associated with his cunning and mischievous nature. This interpretation is highly expressive and possesses significant decorative value. The piece stands out for the quality of the carving, the precision of the details, and the extraordinary patina of the stone, which accentuates its sculptural presence and refinement. Conceived as an ornamental element in the architectural tradition, it is particularly suitable for hanging on a wall, although it can also be used as a fountain spout. Made of genuine Vicenza stone, it is in very good condition and intact. This lot is in an international warehouse (within the EU). Intra-EU shipping: no import duties apply within the EU. An export permit from the country of origin may be required.
