Description
In the style of Innocenzo Fraccaroli (Verona, 1805 - Milan, 1882), Achilles, Fascist period, first half of the 20th century Carved red travertine. Dimensions: 112 x 60 x 182 cm. Monumental sculpture in red travertine depicting a Roman warrior, conceived with a marked sense of solemnity, strength, and monumentality-traits particularly in keeping with the official aesthetic developed in Italy during the Fascist period. The figure, generously sized and visually striking, stands out for the solidity of its volumes, the definition of its details, and the noble presence of the material, whose patina accentuates the sculptural character of the whole. This is a work of particular architectural presence, suitable for both spacious interiors and exteriors, where its scale and formal language lend it a prominent decorative role. From a private collection, it is presented in very good condition and intact. Lot in international warehouse (within the EU). Intra-EU shipping: no import duties apply within the EU. An export permit from the country of origin may be required.
