Pair of reliefs of Virgin and Child, Signed, Basque school, 20th century.
Pair of numbered reliefs. Made of papier-mâché. Dimensions: 41 x 31 cm; with frame: 58 x 47 cm. A set of two framed reliefs depicting the Virgin Mary seated, holding the Christ Child on her lap or arm, set against a blue marbled background. Both compositions feature flowing drapery, idealized faces, and a serene, frontal pose, with complementary details such as a chair, a book, and household items in one of the pieces.
