Luminous Shore. Spanish School. 20th century. José Antonio Serna Ramos (1927, Alicante – 2011, Valencia) Oil on paper, signed by José Antonio Serna Ramos. In an intimate format (22 × 15 cm, framed 40 × 35 cm), this work depicts a seascape rendered with vibrant chromatic freedom and impetuous brushwork. The composition is organised into horizontal bands of intense blues and yellows, from which a white boat and suggested figures emerge through the Expressionist gesture.
