Saint John the Baptist, Spanish School, 18th century Carved and polychromed wood. Dimensions: 97 x 46 x 41 cm. Devotional sculpture of Saint John the Baptist, identifiable by the camel skin that partially covers his body and by the presence of the lamb, a symbol of Christ and an essential attribute of his iconography. The saint is depicted in a meditative pose, with his head bowed and a contemplative expression, creating a composition of intense spirituality.
