Pair of planters featuring Medusa heads. Inspired by Italian Neoclassicism. 21st century Moulded and modelled terracotta from Impruneta. Dimensions: 47 x 66 x 52 cm. A pair of large-format planters designed as ornamental cups on pedestals, decorated with an elaborate sculptural repertoire inspired by the classical Italian tradition. The containers feature a fluted body resting on a quadrangular base and a wide circular rim framed by a rope-like border, enriched with sinuous plant motifs running along the upper edge.
