Set of four chairs from Guadalajara, Spanish school, 17th century Carved wood. Dimensions: approx. 89 x 42 x 35 cm. A set of four Guadalajara chairs with austere structures, straight backs and turned slats, designed with a strong sense of functionality. Their austere design and simple construction are reminiscent of 17th-century Spanish folk furniture. There is some damage to two of the upper finials on the backrests, but this does not detract from their typological interest or their value as a set.
