Description
28 China: A large oval tureen, with its lid and display stand. Hard-paste porcelain decorated with low-fired enamels, known as ‘sur couverte’. Decorated with a figure in a boat set against a lakeside landscape with flowers. Openwork fretwork in the shape of a crown. Zoomorphic handles (rabbit heads) in a coral colour. Qing Dynasty, Qianlong period 1736–1795, circa 1760. Condition:
