29 China: A set comprising a rectangular dish with bevelled sides and two round plates in hard-paste porcelain for the East India Company. Polychrome decoration of garlands of flowers and baskets of flowers executed in low-fire enamels on a ‘Famille rose’ ground. Qing Dynasty, Qianlong period (1736–1795), circa 1780.
