Description
40 China (L260160/110): A very fine, large hard-paste porcelain dish decorated with a vase adorned with scholar’s objects and chrysanthemums.
The decoration is executed in a subtle gradation of deep blue, fired at a high temperature under glaze. Very fine workmanship. Ming Dynasty, Wanli–Tiang Qi–Chongzhen period, between 1615 and 1630. Diam.: 51 cm. Condition: very good.
