SINO-TIBETAN, 18th century. Gilded bronze statuette depicting Amitayus seated in padmasana on a lotus-shaped plinth, his hands in dhyâna-mudrâ holding the kalasha, the vase of immortality. The face is surmounted by a crown with five fleurons; the ears and body are adorned with jewellery. Sealed base, the reverse incised with a double vajra; traces of polychromy. Signs of wear.
