A significant and rare pair of columns in antique green marble and gilded bronze, banded with four half-shells in the form of figureheads featuring lion and wild boar heads, swords and marine animals, on a square plinth of sea-green marble, Sienna yellow and Italian cherry red.
They are surmounted by a cylindrical plinth of veined Sienna yellow marble on a cherry red base, which probably once supported a statue or a military trophy (missing)
