Louis XVI style, the spoons chiselled with medallions surrounded by ribbon-like bands, scrolls and foliage; the handles chiselled with bands and mouldings. The spoons are monogrammed: EK. In its original wooden case lined with kidskin, signed R. Michel Gainier. Paris.
Minerve hallmarks, (950°/°°); Parisian work from the first half of the 20th century.
Silversmiths: Olier and Caron. Hallmarked on 15 November 1910 and struck out on 22 June 1934; a new hallmark was struck on 22 June 1934 and struck out on 1 May 1936, 39 Rue de Turbigo, Paris.
