Description
A fine silver tea and coffee service;
comprising: a teapot, a coffee pot, a milk jug and a sugar bowl in silver, as well as a kettle, its stand with its burner and
the silver-plated tray. All pieces are decorated with cascading flowers, foliage and fruit. The seeds in the fruit and acanthus leaves are burst open. The stand of the burner is chased with goat’s heads, split acanthus leaves and laurel sprigs. The tray features the same decoration, with scroll-shaped handles. Preserved in its original oak case lined with red shagreen. All the pieces, as well as the case, are engraved with a coat of arms of alliances beneath a marquis’s crown.
