Travel writing case attributed to the workshop of César Bagard, 17th–18th century
made of fruitwood or St Lucia wood, rectangular in shape, decorated on all sides with foliage scrolls and tendrils, as well as monograms surmounted by a marquis’s crown in the spandrels and in the centre within an oval panel. The interior features various compartments, one fitted with a lockable lid and two inkwells. Side drawer.
