After Charles Paillet (1871–1937) The Two Friends Bronze with a brown patina H: 26 – W: 61 – D: 28 cm Signed ‘Ch Paillet’ on the terrace and foundry mark: Lost-wax / Leblanc Barbedienne et Fils / Paris It is possible that this bronze is the result of a collaboration between Paillet and Steinlen, the latter having sculpted the cat nestled between the dog’s paws.
