After Georges PETIT DE CHEMELLIER (1835–1907) "Get up!" or Clown with a Poodle Bronze with a variegated brown patina H: 39 – W: 19.5 – D: 14 cm Signed on the pedestal and dated 12 February 1884 on the base. Oxidation; one of the poodle’s paws needs reattaching In 1882, Georges Petit de Chemellier presented the plaster model of this clown, which is now held at the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Angers (MBA 42).
