Set of three seated porcelain figures, Paris, 19th century, with polychrome and gold decoration, height 16 to 19 cm A collection of porcelain by Jacob Petit Founded in 1830 by Jacob Petit (1796–1868) and operating under his management until 1862, the manufactory was distinguished by its elaborate forms and highly imaginative decorative style, often inspired by the Rococo, combining polychrome decoration with rich gold highlights.
