Description
[Alsace. Wissembourg prints]. BILDERBOGEN, Scheibenbilder. Wissenburg, C. Burckardt, [c. 1880]. A large oblong folio album with a printed cover, containing 50 targets featuring animals or soldiers, with 25 subjects repeated twice, lithographed in colour. In 1877, Burckardt took over from Wentzel and began signing the images with his own name, continuing to do so until his death in 1888.
