In-4, [3] f., 459 p., [1] leaf, contemporary havana calf, ribbed spine, maroon sheepskin title label, red speckled edges (corners blunt, tears to the top cap and on one rib; slight angular water stain at the start of the volume; plate 25 is missing). Second, posthumous edition, based on the original of 1707, with errors corrected. The illustrations consist of 33 (out of 34; plate 25 is missing) fold-out copperplate engravings (plates numbered 1 to 33, and one unnumbered plate opposite p. 413), a copper-engraved header and an initial at the beginning of the text.
