FRANÇOIS DE NEUFCHÂTEAU (Nicolas). Agronomic Journeys through the Senatorial District of Dijon, setting out a method successfully employed to remedy the problem of fragmented land through the planning of farm tracks. Paris: Printed by Mme Huzard, 1806. In-4, XII-260 pp, 1 large fold-out map enhanced with watercolour, contemporary bronze-green Russian half-leather, smooth spine, gilt title and running bands (corners worn, covers sun-faded and dusty, a few rare brown spots). First edition of this agronomic treatise, a precursor to land consolidation schemes, illustrated with a large map showing the organisation of agricultural land in the vicinity of Rouvres (Côte-d’Or). (INED 1905). Provenance: Saint-Sulpice parish, Paris (20th-century label).
