Limited edition of 150 copies, this one being no. 17.
A few scholarly annotations, more extensive on p. 18 in the entry on Pierre Auriol, where a letter from a descendant, Henry Auriol (3 pp., in-12), is attached.
Provenance: Frédéric Raisin, Swiss lawyer (1851–1923), with a handwritten bookplate dated 1908, and a wood-engraved bookplate by Félix Vallotton (1865–1925); Jean Tremblot de La Croix (1893–1964), curator at the Bibliothèque de l’Institut de France, historian and heraldist; by descent.
